Rising through the ranks, from police officer to lieutenant, Mr. Barrella became well versed in all aspects of investigations from intake to closeout, both as an investigating officer and then as a supervisor.
Also, as a supervisor, Mr. Barrella was tasked with investigating and/or supervising internal affairs investigations.
While attending the FBI National Academy, Mr. Barrella completed in the Investigative Interviewing course.
